"I hereby move to adopt Ordinance No. 06-2023, approving the 2022-2023 Capital Improvements Element update by providing for the replacement of the Capital Improvement Project sheets at first reading and schedule a second and final reading for June 19, 2023. The City Manager has the authority to make corrections of scrivener's errors and the like."

BACKGROUND:
Background
Pursuant to Chapter 163.3177(3)(b) F.S., the City Capital Improvements Element of the
Comprehensive Plan must be reviewed and updated on an annual basis. It is recommended to send the Capital Improvements Element (CIE) Report to the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) when it is adopted by the City Commission each year. Staff has reviewed the current capital improvements for the next five years. The intent of the review is to ensure compliance with the adopted Comprehensive Plan level of service (LOS) standards. This review has been accomplished in collaboration with the City's Finance Department, Public Works Department, other City Departments, and agencies.
