edition of the Florida Building Code, Section 105.1, which states that
any owner, authorized agent, who intends to construct, enlarge, alter,
repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or
structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or
replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system, the
installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such
work to be done, shall first make application to the Building Official and
obtain the required permit.
Corrective action: You must obtain a permit for the Door Replacement.
This case was for not obtaining a permit to replace rear door. Property
owner is requesting a reduction from the amount owed of 190 days @
$25.00 / day = $4,750.00 to $0.00. This property is now in compliance
with the City and the fine has stopped.
