Joint Meeting With Planning & Zoning Board

1. CALL TO ORDER:

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Nicholas Hill, Senior Planner with JBPro.

4. BUSINESS:

Deltona 2025 Comprehensive Plan Workshop between the Elected

Officials, the Planning & Zoning Board, and the public.

The Community Development Services Director welcomed everyone and introduced

Nicholas Hill, Senior Planner from JBPro, who gave a presentation to include Introductions,

How we got here, Chapter 1: Framework, Next Steps, and Engagement Activities.

After his presentation, Mr. Hill asked that the every present divide themselves amongst the

tables to start the engagement activities. Everyone took part in six rounds of activities

throughout the workshop which contained activities for: Exploring alternative housing

choices, Targeted industry survey, Targeted industry incentives, What should be in a

"Mixed-Use Neighborhood", What does mixed use look like next to a neighborhood, and

What does mixed use look like in a majority activity center. After the activities Mr. Hill spoke

about the next steps.
