1. CALL TO ORDER:

The meeting was called to order at 5:03 p.m.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES & AGENDA:  
A.  
AHAC minutes of July 15, 2025  
Motion by Vice-Chair Wallace-Chin, seconded by Member Ellis, to  
approve the AHAC minutes of July 15, 2025, as presented. The motion  
carried unanimously.  
4. PRESENTATIONS/AWARDS/REPORTS:  
None.  
5. PUBLIC FORUM: Time permitted, public comments shall be limited to items on the  
agenda and shall not exceed two minutes. Please be courteous and respectful of the  
views of others. Personal attacks on Committee/Board members, City staff or  
members of the public are not allowed and will be ruled out of order by the Chair.  
Chair Jodi Peña-Castaldi opened and closed Public Forum as there was none.  
6. OLD BUSINESS:  
None.  
7. NEW BUSINESS:  
A.  
Community Land Trust (CLT) - What's Next? An Agreement.  
Mr. Grose stated that the Community Land Trust (CLT) agreement is in draft form with the  
legal department and that properties are being identified for possible CLTs.  
B.  
SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) 2025-2028 - It's Approved.  
Mr. Grose advised the committee that the Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) was  
approved by the City Commission on July 21, 2025 and subsequently approved by Florida  
Housing Finance Corporation on August 4, 2025.  
8. STAFF COMMENTS:  
Mr. Hoppa mentioned residents will benefit from the Minor Home Repair strategy.  
Mr. Grose mentioned housing staff will be attending the 2025 Annual Statewide Affordable  
Housing Conference in Orlando at the Rosen Centre from August 25-27, 2025.  
Mr. Smith welcomed Ms. Briggs back after her medical leave.  
9. BOARD/COMMITTEE MEMBERS COMMENTS:  
Vice-Chair Wallace-Chin thanked staff for their work.  
10. ADJOURNMENT:
