BACKGROUND:

Background

The City Commission on August 28, 2023 regular City Commission meeting concurred for the City to amend the Chapter 14-Animals, of the Code of Ordinances. The City Commission consensus was to expedite revisions to Chapter 14- Animals, to add for Cruelty to animal; Proper Care; Custody; and Confinement pursuant to Florida Statute 828.13 to be put in an Ordinance and moved for first reading.
