BACKGROUND:
Background
The current agreement has been extended through October 5, 2026, and the agreement was within budget during FY25-26 (attached).
The new agreement is to provide kennel and medical services for the animals that are picked up within the City of Deltona, utilizing the Halifax Humane Society and it is budgeted in FY26-27. The agreement does include increases in the cost to impound animals, as well as other administrative cost increases. The budget is built on the number of animals in which Halifax Society services and the expected number of services.
