BACKGROUND:
Background
Rezone + 36.46 acres of land located along the North Normandy Boulevard Corridor, south and east of the I-4 Logistics Park IPUD within the Activity Center from single-family residential (R1-AA) to Mixed Use Planned Unit Development (MPUD) to allow a mix of warehouses, office, space, retail and 343 multi-family dwelling units. Approximately 52% or 19.26 acres of the MPUD are proposed for light industrial, office or retail type uses. The applicant has worked with Volusia County and City staff to ensure the MPUD would attract employment opportunities, while providing new housing opportunities that will allow residents to live, work, and play in the area.
