BACKGROUND:

Background

On or about September 25, 2024, Radames Estrada was operating a motor vehicle which was also occupied by Linette Quintana traveling East on Saxon Blvd., Deltona, Florida and a City Employee driving a City Vehicle collided with their vehicle. It is alleged that, Linette Quintana and Radames Estrada suffered personal injuries and incurred medical expenses as a result of the Accident. Linette Quintana and Radames Estrada, filed a lawsuit against the City of Deltona in Florida’s 7th Judicial Circuit in and for Volusia County, styled as Linette Quintana and Radames Estrada v. City of Deltona and identified by Case Number 2025-13100-CID. Linette Quintana and Radames Estrada are willing to execute a General Release extinguishing any and all claims including all past, present, and future claims for damages arising from the Accident for the total amount of $60,000.00, including all costs and attorney’s fees. the City’s insurance carrier for the Accident and Litigation, PGCS, will cover the cost of the Settlement Amount as the City does not have a deductible for this claim.
