BACKGROUND:
Background
On August 16, 2024, Colin Baenziger & Associates (CB&A) started the recruiting process for a City Attorney and the application deadline was September 27, 2024. On October 17, 2024, CB&A forwarded the application packets to the City Commission for four (4) individuals and the three (3) firms for the City Attorney position. Since then Ernest Mueller has withdrawn his application. On October 21, 2024, the City Commission discussed and selected the finalists to be individually interviewed. This item is for the City Commission to discuss, rank and select a new City Attorney. The City Commission will also need to select the individuals to negotiate the City Attorney contract.
