BACKGROUND:
Background
The Joint Workshop between the City Commission and Planning and Zoning Board is to present the proposed Mixed Use Future Land Use (FLU) Category as part of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment. The presentation will include:
• An overview of the proposed Mixed Use Future Land Use Goals, Objectives and Policies.
• A review of the proposed Mixed Use Future Land Use categories:
o Uptown Center
o Community Mixed Use Centers
o Community Mixed Use Center
o Main Street Mixed Use Corridor
o Economic Center
o Eco Center
The workshop is intended to provide the City Commission and Planning and Zoning Board with an opportunity to ask questions and provide direction before the draft amendments are finalized. No formal action will be taken during the workshop.
