BACKGROUND:

Background

Pursuant to direction received by the City Commission at the April 21, 2025, Regular City Commission Meeting, the City Attorney’s Office drafted an ordinance to set forth the rules, requirements, and restrictions that apply to lobbyists and others who may try from time to time to influence the acts and decisions of the City Commission or other final decisionmakers within the City. On June 6, 2025, Regular City Commission Meeting the Commission voted to move this item to a workshop for further discussion.
