Violation:
City of Deltona Ordinance, Section 37-8(b), which states that a "secure manner" shall include, but not be limited to, the closure and locking of windows, doors, gates and other openings of such size that may allow a child or adult to access the interior of the property or structure. Broken windows, doors, gates and other openings of such size that may allow a child or adult to access the interior of the property or structure must be repaired. Broken windows shall be secured by re-glazing of the windows and broken, or damaged doors shall be secured by newly installed doors. Boarding of windows and/or doors shall not be permitted except as temporary emergency security measures.
Corrective Action:
Remove boards from windows and/or doors, repair or replace. Obtain a permit if necessary.
