BACKGROUND:
Background
On August 26, 2026, Property owner Brandyn Schwalm of Home Solution Investment LLC, appeared before the Special Magistrate to request a recommendation to reduce the fines. Mr. VanLaningham’s recommendation, the aggregate accrued fine of $17,250.00 should be reduced to a single amount of $6,000.00. That amount includes the case enforcement costs substantiated by the City; those costs should not be added to the $6,000.00. City reported cost is $3,550.50. This property is not homesteaded.
