BACKGROUND:
Background
This item is so the City Commission can discuss and direct staff as to how the candidate interview process will be conducted. Some points of discussion that have been brought up are as follows: Time frame for each of the one-on-one interviews? What questions will be asked of each candidate and how many during the public interviews? Will the Commission rank the final candidates? Who will negotiate the contract with the selected candidate and what should be negotiated? Attached is a guide (Preparation & events for interview weekend) to help the Commission with these questions and any others that may come up during the discussion.
