BACKGROUND:

Background

CRA’s are specifically created to eliminate slum and blight conditions.  Providing Grant funds for businesses within the CRA allows for the overall improvement of the district and eliminates slum and blight-like conditions.

“The Community Redevelopment Plan provides a framework for rehabilitation and redevelopment of the Redevelopment Area as an attractive, inviting, easily accessible and economically successful community which promotes a positive image for the City of Deltona.” (page 22 Southwest Deltona CRA Redevelopment Plan).
