BACKGROUND:
Background
A dispute has arisen involving a complaint for declaratory judgment against the City of Deltona by Howland Holdings Group, LLC, Osteen Acquisitions Group, LLC, Osteen Acquisitions Group, LLC, Trafalgar Holdings, LLC, Piccadilly Holdings Group, LLC, SLA Capital Group, LLC, Deltona Property Holdings, LLC, Howie Investment Group, LLC, Deltona Capital Group, LLC, Deltona Acquisitions Group, LLC, Elite Trust & Escrow Company, LLC as Trustee of the Silve Line Land Trust dated July 20, 2022, and Elite Trust & Escrow Company, LLC as Trustee of Volusia Holding Group Land Trust (the "Dispute")

The Dispute has resulted in filing of litigation in Florida's 7th Judicial Circuit in and for Volusia County, styled as Howland Holdings Group, LLC, et al. v. City of Deltona and identified by Case Number 2025- 11349-CIDL. The City's insurance carrier is still determining if coverage exists for this matter.

Due to the complex nature of the facts and law involved in this litigation, it is in the best interest of the City for Roberts, Reynolds, Bedard & Tuzzio, PLLC as Outside Counsel to represent City in the Litigation until the City insurance carrier coverage is determined and once coverage is exhausted.
