BACKGROUND:
Background
Project Manager, Kimberly Castro will present federal programs (1-3) to assist the City of Deltona with recovery and resiliency initiatives.

(1) Recovery and Resiliency Partnership Projects (R2P2) - Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sponsored technical assistance program to support each city's vision for long-term economic recovery by developing design concepts and strategies that integrate recreation, stormwater management, community connectivity, and downtown development.
(2) National Parks Service Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance (NPS-RTCA) program assists communities, public land managers and nonprofit organizations with conservation and outdoor recreation projects to provide professional planning, design and technical expertise that help to achieve the community's conservation and outdoor recreation vision.
(3) EPA's College/Underserved Community Partnership Program (CUPP) to provide meaningful support to underserved communities seeking to address legacy environmental and economic impacts while building the next generation of leaders with an awareness and vision for meeting the our community. Communities receive vital assistance and services on a voluntary basis at no cost.
