BACKGROUND:

Background

The funds required for this project are available in the FY 25/26 budget as approved by the City Commission for the required amount of $144,182.11. This award is using the piggyback agreement contracts with Danus Utilities, Inc. and Perimeter Solutions Group.

Lift Station #3 is a critical component of the City of Deltona’s wastewater collection system. Due to the age and condition of the station’s mechanical and electrical equipment, rehabilitation is needed to maintain reliable operations, reduce the risk of equipment failure and potential sanitary sewer overflows, and extend the useful life of the lift station. The proposed improvements will enhance system reliability, reduce maintenance cost, and help ensure continued regulatory compliance. Capital Improvements Project funds are budgeted each year for repair and replacement of lift stations such as this.
