BACKGROUND:

Background

On February 19, 2026, the West Volusia Hospital Authority voted and approved the closure of the miCare Clinic located in Deltona, Florida. The Authority has further proposed replacing the existing miCare Clinic with a mobile clinic, which will not provide a comparable level of service or accessibility for Deltona residents.
