BACKGROUND:
Background
The City of Deltona and Deltona Professional Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 2913, have negotiated changes to the Firefighters’ Pension Plan as outlined in Article 34 of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement to increase the age limit for Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP) eligibility from 60 to 65 years of age. This change will take effect as soon as practical following the final ratification of the Ordinance.
