BACKGROUND:

Background

The City of Deltona submitted several flood mitigation projects to Volusia County’s Transform386 program.  The project known as Sweet Gum Lake Flood Mitigation project proposes to have a permanent stormwater pump station and infrastructure installed on City owned property - Tract N, Deltona Lakes Unit 20.  This project will extend the infrastructure on Pace Court to connect to the existing infrastructure on LeLand Drive.

The City’s application committed a 50% cost share of the project, which is estimated to be $919,520 of the $1,839,040 anticipated total project cost.
