BACKGROUND:
Background
The funding for this request is budgeted for in the FY25/26 budget. Total for CWR is $3,035,582.74 and Fausnight $65,613.55 for a total of $3,101,196.29.

Work includes unforeseen overruns due to roadway conditions along with replacement of temporary pavement markings with permanent pavement striping (including white lines, yellow lines, turn arrows/messages and Reflective Pavement Markers and continuing to mill & resurface roadways as funds are available each Fiscal Year.

The City continues working towards addressing the resurfacing needs Citywide based on the Pavement Condition Index of each roadway section. The impacts of COVID put a halt to milling & resurfacing, and our contractor is moving towards completion of prior & current roadway listings.

CWR (fka P&S Paving, Inc.) is an approved vendor that the City is piggybacking off an existing contract with Voluisa County. The contract between the CWR and the City of Deltona is valid until March 6, 2028.
