BACKGROUND:
Background
DUKE Energy Florida, LLC is one of two (2) power providers in the City of Deltona. DUKE Energy has a power utility site located at 1340 Section Line Trail. This site does not afford DUKE Energy the necessary space for an essential pole installation. The DUKE property is adjacent to the rear of Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex. DUKE is requesting an easement for a 10’ x 10’ (100 square foot) site to be located adjacent to their property on City Property. Parks & Recreation has confirmed that they have no objections to the proposed easement and finds it will not impact future use or expansion of the park.
