BACKGROUND:
Background
The City of Deltona currently is contracted with Crom Corp for maintenance of ground storage tanks throughout the City’s infrastructure of Water Treatment Plants. Each year necessary maintenance activities occur such as resurfacing, internal cleaning, inspections, and aeration repairs. The aerator at Saxon Water is budgeted to be replaced during FY 24/25 as a CIP for $135,000.00, however due to it’s current state it needs to be repaired sooner than anticipated. The current PO for CROM has $101,000.00 available. The additional funds are available in GL 401-361-524602 to facilitate this repair. The 24/25 CIP of $135,000.00 will be removed from the budget if approved.
