1. CALL TO ORDER:
5:00 PM

EXECUTIVE SESSION
The meeting was called to order at 5:24 p.m. by Vice Mayor JodyLee.
2. ROLL CALL – CITY CLERK:

4. BUSINESS:
A. Private meeting with legal counsel to discuss pending litigation Case No. 2023 11233
CIDL 7th Judicial Circuit in and for Volusia County pursuant to section 286.011(8), Fla. Stat.
i. Mayor announces the commencement of the Executive Session with an estimated length
of up to an hour.
Vice Mayor JodyLee stated the estimated length of time for the Executive Session is one hour.
ii. Mayor announces the names of each Commissioner in attendance, the Interim City
Manager Glenn Whitcomb, City Attorney Marsha Segal-George, Human Resources
Director Floris Jackson and Attorney Belford with Roper, P.A.
Vice Mayor JodyLee announced that each Commissioner was in attendance along with the
Interim City Manager, City Attorney, Finance Director and Attorney Belford with Roper, P.A.
iii. Mayor closes the session to the public.
Vice Mayor JodyLee closed the Executive Session to the public at 5:28 p.m. and he asked that
anyone's name he did not call to exit the room at this time.
